Agartala29 July 28: Azadi Ka Amrit Mohotsav will be celebrated across the country on the occasion of 75 years of independence. As a part of that, the Har Ghar Tiranga program has been undertaken from August 13 to August 15. This includes, National flag hoisting in all government offices and private institutions in West District and also hoisting the flag at the houses of those who are government employees.
West District Magistrate Debpriya Bardhan detailed the same amid a press conference at the conference hall of West District Magistrate’s office on Thursday. As part of this special campaign, the national flag will be hoisted in every house.
For this, National flag can also be collected from respective ward offices. Also the Merchant Association has been informed about this programme. The district magistrate said that the merchant association has informed that they will also participate in this program.
