Agartala, June 17, 2023: On the occasion of Rath Yatra i.e. on June 20 next, a grand nine-day long ‘Rath Yatra’ festival has been organized by the Hare Krishna Temple located at Ashram Chowmuhani, Agartala. This event will continue from June 20 to June 28.
This year, the Hare Krishna Temple has temporarily converted the Shatadal Sangha premises at Ashram Chowmuhani in the capital into the Gundicha Temple. So Sri Sri Jagannath, Baladev and Subhadra Maharani will ride in a very beautiful and well-decorated huge chariot and circumambulate the various roads of the city to reach Gundicha Mandir i.e. Shatadal Sangha.
Jagannath, Baladev and Subhadra will be worshiped there for seven days. Tulsi Aarti, Gaur Aarti, Jagannathlila Katha etc. will be organized in the Gundicha temple every evening of the seven-day event. On June 28, Sri Sri Jagannath, Baladev and Subhadra will return to Harekrishna Temple in a reverse chariot from Gundicha Mandir at 3 pm.
Hare Krishna Mandir Principal Parameshwar Das said this in a press conference organized at the temple on Saturday. He urged all the devotees to participate in the event.
