Agartala: May 26 : A housewife named Jharna Ghosh Deb of Ambassa died in GB Pant Hospital reportedly due to lack of treatment.

The patient’s family at GB Hospital became agitated today morning after making such allegation.

The family members of the patients claimed that the deceased housewife was undergoing treatment at GB Hospital due to her physical illness. But since she was admitted to the hospital, her family said that due to the extreme inefficiency of the doctors and health workers, his death was on the verge of death.

The family members alleged that the housewife was scheduled for dialysis this morning. But dialysis did not take place till eight o’clock in the morning as there was no doctor. Husband Rajeev Deb believes that the housewife would have survived if dialysis was done at the right time. BJP rural district vice-president Kiran Bhattacharya, who witnessed the incident at the hospital, also went there for treatment for his injuries.

He drew the attention of the Chief Minister about the hospital services and said that if there are patients in the hospital, they will die. He claimed that after repeated tests, the patient’s disease is not correctly diagnosed.

As the housewife who died needed blood, however the blood was arranged by the family. But after collecting the same unit on Thursday, the doctors and health workers left the blood on the table instead of keeping it in the fridge. As a result, the blood was reportedly wasted.

No doctor came when the housewife’s condition deteriorated overnight on Thursday. On Friday morning, the housewife died instantly after giving an injection.
