Human skeleton recovered from rubber plantation in Belonia

Agartala: August 20. Tripura Police has recovered a human skeleton from a rubber plantation in Reang para Kachari ADC village under Belonia on Saturday morning.

The rubber cultivators have first witnessed the skeleton and informed police. Soon after the information, police personnel from Belonia police station .rushed to the spot.

The initial idea of the police is that it will be the skeleton of a young man above 30. A pair of jeans, a tracksuit, a pair of shorts and a packet of biscuits were recovered from the side of the skeleton. The recovered skeleton has not yet been identified, the police said. Meanwhile, forensic team with dog squad rushed to investigate. The police recovered the skeleton and sent it to the hospital morgue. However, whether it was a murder or a suicide, the police are investigating.
