Agartala, 31st August 2026 : The Gomati District Committee of the Samasta Tripura School Computer Shikshak Sangha on Monday submitted a memorandum to the Gomati District Education Office in Udaipur, raising several demands concerning ICT computer instructors.
The BMS-affiliated organisation alleged that ICT teachers have long faced low and irregular wages, lack of salary revision, third-party employment and job insecurity. In the absence of the District Education Officer, the memorandum was handed over to other departmental officials.
Gomati District President Subrata Saha said the association is demanding salary increases in line with central guidelines, transparency in wage payments, improved digital education infrastructure and job security for ICT instructors.
The organisation maintained that ICT teachers play a crucial role in promoting digital education across the state, but their longstanding grievances remain unresolved. It urged the Education Department to address the issues at the earliest.
