Illegal Entry Will Be Dealt With as Per Law: Tripura CM

Agartala, 21st May 2025 :  Tripura Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha todaty reiterated that the state government will take strict legal action against any instances of illegal entry by Bangladeshi nationals or Rohingyas.

“Tripura shares an 856-kilometre-long international border with Bangladesh, and we are committed to securing it,” the Chief Minister said. “If anyone is found entering the state illegally, whether Bangladeshi or Rohingya, we will not allow them to stay. They will be pushed back after completing all due legal procedures,” he added.He further emphasized that Tripura will not compromise on issues related to national security and illegal infiltration.
