Agartala, 27th March 2026: Local villagers of Netaji Subhash Nagar Gram Panchayat rescued an injured deer fawn from the nearby forest this morning.
Sources informed that the residents spotted the fawn inside the jungle and immediately rushed to its aid. They carefully carried the animal to a safe location and promptly informed veterinary doctors and forest department officials. Responding to the call, officials reached the spot and provided medical treatment. After the initial care, the fawn was handed over to the forest department for further attention.
The swift action and humane initiative of the villagers have drawn praise from the local community, highlighting their commitment to protecting wildlife.
