Agartala, 30th March 2026: With the upcoming ADC elections drawing near, IPFT’s nominated candidate for the 27-Muhuripur Buratali constituency, Suchimohan Tripura formally began his campaign by offering prayers to his mother. Following the ritual, he embarked on door-to-door outreach in the hill areas, engaging directly with local residents.
Speaking to the media personnel, Tripura claimed that his campaign has been receiving strong public response. He criticized the ruling Tipra Motha government, alleging that in the past five years, tribal regions have seen little to no meaningful development. According to him, this lack of progress has fueled a desire for change among voters, strengthening confidence in the IPFT.
Tripura is currently conducting intensive grassroots campaigning, listening to people’s grievances and assuring them of solutions. Party sources suggest that this personal approach is helping him build stronger trust and connections with the electorate.
The campaign launch also saw the presence of Khola Dhan Tripura, BAC Chairman of the Satchan RB Block, along with other party leaders, underscoring collective support for the candidate’s efforts.
