Agartala, February 03: Jana Unnayan Samiti Tripura (JUST) organized a one-day free health camp for the benefit of public and to spread awareness about health check-up and maintaining a healthy life was at Mohanto Para on Saturday under Karbook RD Block in Gomati District.
More than 150 people mostly women and children benefited from the health camps. Dr. Sugendu Debbarma from Karbook PHC came for the health camp.
The objective of conducting the health camp was to create awareness of general health among the people, provide general health care services and counselling them on basic healthcare and hygiene.
People were diagnosed with various common diseases but seriously neglected problems such as acute fever, gastric, loose motion and mal-nourished.
All the children were provided with medicines and vitamin tonics and those suffering from loose motion were given ORS.
