Agartala, October 22, 2022: Deputy Chief Minister and MLA of Charilam assembly constituency Jishnu Dev Varma on Saturday inaugurated a social program on the occasion of Shyama Mayer Puja of Colony Shantipriya Sansthan of Dakshin Charilam Gram Panchayat.
Dev Varma inaugurated the blood donation health camp and cloth distribution ceremony of Dakshin Charilam Shanti Priya Sansthan by lighting the lamp. In the inaugural ceremony, Additional District Magistrate of Sepahijala district Subhashis Bandyopadhyay, BDO Charilam Block Rupan Das, Panchayat Samiti Member Rajkumar Debnath, Gram Pradhan Junu Datta, vice-president Shubham Debnath were also present.
Dakshin Charilam Shanti Priya Sanstham is organizing such health and blood donation camps on the occasion of Kali Puja festival. Doctors of ILS Hospital treated patients and distributed free medicines. The spontaneous presence of local people in donating clothes to health camps and blood donation camps was remarkable.
