Jishnu visits PMAY beneficiaries in Charilam

Agartala, December 04, 2022: Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma, who is also the MLA of Charilam assembly constituency on Sunday visited the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in Colony No. 6 area of Dakshin Charilam Gram Panchayat under Charilam RD Block.

During his visit, the Deputy Chief Minister was accompanied by the Sepahijala District (North) Yuva Morcha General Secretary Shyamal Debnath, Kisan Morcha state leader Tuton Saha, Mandal member of Charilam Mandal Basu Ranjan Shil, Booth President Madhu Mallik, BJYM leader Dolan Bhowmik and others.

In Dakshin Charilam Gram Panchayat, 450 households received house benefits under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. What is the status of the work of those houses?

Deputy Chief Minister Dev Varma visited Pratima Debnath’s house at Colony No. 6 of Dakshin Charilam Gram Panchayat. He talks to beneficiaries who have got houses. He also spoke about the schemes of the state and central governments.Speaking to media persons here, Deputy Chief Minister said that houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana will be provided to every house who need a house. “Our government does not play politics with houses, it is delivering houses to those who need them, more houses will be given in the coming days”, he added.
