Agartala, 10th June 2024:   Frustrated job aspirants gathered in front of the Joint Recruitment Board of Tripura (JRBT) office on Monday, demanding the prompt publication of the merit list for the Group-D posts. The recruitment process, which began in 2020, has been stalled, leaving candidates in a state of uncertainty.

The aspirants, who had cleared the written examination and were awaiting their results from the oral test, formed a delegation to submit a deputation to the Director of JRBT. Their primary demand was the immediate release of both the merit list and the waiting list for the Group-D posts.

“The recruitment process for these posts started four years ago, and yet we are still waiting for the merit list to be published,” one of the aspirants said. “This delay is causing immense stress and uncertainty for all of us who have worked hard to clear the written examination.”

The delegation expressed their concerns and the urgency of the situation to the director, emphasizing the impact of the prolonged delay on their career prospects and livelihoods. They urged the authorities to expedite the process and ensure transparency in the publication of results.

“We have fulfilled all the requirements and cleared the written tests. It is only fair that the merit list for the oral examination be published without further delay,” another aspirant added.
