Agartala, 3rd October 2026 :. A joint field inspection was conducted in Mandwi to review the progress of key projects under the Tribal Welfare Department, with the Secretary and Director of the department visiting the sites.
The team inspected the ongoing construction of the 480-seated Eklavya Model Residential School, focusing on the progress and quality of work. The Mandwi Girls’ Hostel was also reviewed for its infrastructure, facilities and overall environment.
The officials further inspected the Mandwi ST Hostel at Don Bosco School, assessing the residential and educational arrangements available for tribal students. The visit underscored the department’s focus on improving educational opportunities and residential facilities for tribal students.
