Agartala, November 15: Jolaibari Class XII School under Santirbazar sub-division on Tuesday organized an annual award distribution ceremony this year as well.
Sabroom MLA Shankar Roy inaugurated the event in presence of school management committee president Bikash Baidya (founder member), retired judge Swapan Chandra Das, Agartala Press Club secretary and Tripura Football Association president Pranab Sarkar, Bhupen Dutta Trust chairman Sanjay Pal, pediatrician Dr Neel Ratan Majumder and other guests.
The convener of today’s program was Acting Headmaster Ashish Dutta. Speaking at today’s event, the Acting Headmaster of the school presented some information to the public about the various programs of the school in the past. Besides, what problems the school is facing and seek cooperation to solve the problems.
On the other hand, the MLA Shankar Roy said that it is possible to develop the school in English medium, but if it is English medium, the adjacent school will have to be converted into Bengali medium. The main reason for this is that parents will decide which medium to enroll their children in. Thus, he will sit in discussion with the school authorities and SMC committee in the next few days.
Meanwhile, the minor problems of the school will be solved with speed, said the MLA.
