Khowai police arrest repeat offender with Yaba and SP tablets

Agartala, 29th November 2025:  In Khowai, police in plain clothes arrested Partha De, a tenant of Durganagar Hirak, once again with Yaba and SP tablets.

Shockingly, De had been arrested just weeks ago and sent to jail but resumed drug trafficking after release. Locals allege that by targeting vulnerable youths, De had “turned drug trade into a personal fortune,” prompting growing calls for social boycott of habitual offenders.
