Agartala, 20th December 2025 : The 5-day Faculty Development Program, which saw the active participation of 22 teachers from various states, concluded today with a grand valedictory session. Over the course of five days, 5 expert resource persons provided intensive training on applying Shastric wisdom to post-modern challenges.
The session was presided over by the Director of Eklavya Campus, Prof. Makhlesh Kumar, who emphasized that the responsibility of educators is to translate timeless Shastric concepts into a language understood by the modern generation.
The Chief Guest, Dr. Prashant Ojha (Associate Professor & HoD, Department of Philosophy, Ramthakur College), delivered a profound speech on the philosophical solutions Sanskrit offers to contemporary ethical dilemmas. The Guest of Honor, Prof. B.P.M. Sriniwas (HoD, Education Dept), also shared his insights. A significant highlight was the distribution of certificates to the participants by the dignitaries.
The program was organized under the leadership of Dr. Nepal Das (Coordinator) and Dr. Palash Santra (Co-Coordinator), both esteemed faculty members from the Vedanta Vidyasakha. The session, conducted by Loknath Panda, concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Sambit Mahapatra and the National Anthem.
