Agartala , 2nd December 2022: A total of four water companies in Teliamura and Kalyanpur were sealed by the Teliamura sub-divisional magistrate as per court order due to lack of valid documents here on Friday.
A representative team of the sub-divisional administration conducted raid in 5 water companies under Teliamura sub-division, few days ago. During the inspection, water samples were collected from all those water companies and was sent to the laboratory for testing. Also, the documents of the water companies were searched and examined.
Out of those 5 water companies, 4 water companies namely “Jiwan Aqua” in Teliamura’s Shantinagar area, “Himachal Aqua” in Netajinagar, “Fine Drop” in Moharchhara, and “Life King” in Totabari, did not had valid documents.Two DCMs of Teliamura, Bappaditya Bhowmik and Anjan Chowdhury along with Food Inspector Bhuttu Debbarma and Teliamura police personnel on Friday sealed all those four water companies.The officials said that no business can be done until proper documentation of the water companies is completed.
