Agartala, February 03, 2023: Along with a flock of BJP central and regional level leaders, union minister Smriti Irani arrived in Tripura and campaigned for BJP nominated candidates Kishor Barman and Chief Minister Prof Dr Manik Saha at 21-Nalchar and 8-Town Bardowali assembly constituencies on Friday.

Union minister Irani held a meeting at Shibnagar Class XII School ground in 21-Nalchar assembly constituency in support of BJP nominated candidate Kishor Barman.

Addressing the gathering, Irani threw a question to thousands of spectators on the stage of the assembly constituency that the current assembly election is a fight between terrorism and democracy. So let the voters vote for the nominee of the BJP government who speaks of democracy with a huge margin and give a befitting reply to the terror of the CPIM.

Taunting the Left Front and Congress alliance, union minister said the people of Nalchar assembly constituency knows how many people had died during the CPIM-led Left Front regime for the crime of supporting Congress party. “But today the Leftists and Congress is under one umbrella due to the greed of power”, she added.

Claiming this alliance as a sin, she said that the people of Nalchara should answer for this sin. She urged the people to bless BJP candidate Kishor Barman with a huge margin for the development of the current five years of the BJP government and for the sake of future development.

She said that the people of Nalchar blessed MLA Subhash Chandra Das in the 2018 assembly elections, as a result of which Nalchar got English medium school, free door-to-door tape water connection, Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, free ration and many more.

Therefore, for the sake of the future development of Nalchar, the BJP candidate Kishor Burman should be given the victory in the last assembly elections with a large number of votes. However, the remaining aspects of Nalchar’s development can be completed.
