Agartala, 9th November 2023 : On the occasion of Legal Services Day, an awareness camp was organised by the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) on Thursday at Bali Dhum ADC Village under Jubarajnagar RD Block. The camp aimed to educate the tribal people about their legal rights and the services provided by the DLSA.
The resource person of the camp was Advocate Ramendra Debnath, who discussed the various working areas of the Law Service Committee. He explained how the tribal people can get legal help through the DLSA for any legal problem. He also urged them to contact the DLSA office for any assistance or guidance.
The camp witnessed a significant participation of the tribal people, who interacted with the resource person and raised their queries and concerns. The camp also distributed pamphlets and leaflets containing information about the DLSA and its activities. PLV Chiranjit Malakar was also present at the camp and helped in organising the event.
