Lions Club of Agartala ANISH conducts Lions International Peace Poster Competition

Agartala, 23rd September 2024:   Lions Club of Agartala ANISH has conducted a Lions International Peace Poster Competition for the year 2024-2025 with a theme “Peace Without Limits”.

The program was inaugurated by Subal Kumar Dey, founder and chief editor Syandan Patrika & Syandan TV and Jayanta Bhattacharjee, President of the Agartala Press Club. School students from various schools of Agartala participated in the competition and expressed their thoughts about Peace through poster painting.

The poster paintings were judged by a panel of three jury members, Prof. Rajesh Bhowmik, HOD, Dept. of Fine Arts, Tripura University, Prof. Abhijit Bhattacharya, Principal, Government College of Art and Craft & Joydeep Bhattacharjee, Faculty, Government College of Art and Craft.

All the three judges unanimously judged the poster painting of  Praharshita Das, a student of Auxilium Girl’s School, Class VI to be declared as the Winner of the competition.

Lions of Club of Agartala ANISH will send the winning poster for further selection at district, ISAME (India, South Asia, Africa and the Middle East) and international level as per selection criteria. The top 3 winners were awarded with a trophy, medal and a gift set and all students received certificates of participation.
