Agartala, 8th October 2023 : In a shocking incident that unfolded in the Garji Balipara area, a youth was brutally assaulted by a group of individuals who accused him of cattle theft. The victim, identified as Subrata Nama, was allegedly attacked at Radhakishorepur, by the locals under suspicion of being involved in the disappearance of a bull from the assailant’s property.
According to the victim’s mother, a bull had inadvertently wandered into their residence, prompting the family to instruct their son to return the animal to its rightful owners in Balipara. Tragically, upon arriving in Balipara with the bull, Subrata was subjected to a vicious assault. The injured youth was promptly rescued by his family members and rushed to the district hospital in Tepaniaa, Udaipur. However, due to the severity of his injuries, he was later transferred to GB Hospital for specialized treatment. Presently, Subrata is undergoing medical care at GB Hospital as authorities investigate the incident.
