Agartala, 20th June 2024: In a gesture of community support, Longtharai Brand, a business organization in the state has provided new jerseys’ to the players of Vivekananda Club at the Agartala Press Club on Thursday.
The General Manager of Longtharai ‘Guro Masala’ and a member of the Managing Committee Krishnadhan Debnath presented the jerseys to the club’s officials and players. Longtharai brand known for its business endeavors also actively participates in social, cultural and sports initiatives.
During the press conference, Subrata Debnath expressed confidence in Vivekananda Club’s football team, hoping they will uphold the club’s legacy and deliver impressive performances for the state. The team, a mix of experienced and young players, includes senior footballers Suman Kumar Deb and Paltu Choudhury and is coached by Karnendu Debbarma, a notable former player.
The authorities are optimistic about the team’s prospects this season. Vivekananda Club is set to compete against Umakanta Coaching Center on Friday at 1 PM at Umakanta Academy’s mini-stadium.
