Agartala, 13th February 2026: A mother in Tripura has appealed for public assistance after her 13 year old daughter was diagnosed with a perforation in the lungs. The girl, Cameli Tripura, is in a critical condition, but her family’s financial hardship has made medical treatment nearly impossible.
Cameli lives with her parents in Dewanji Para, Ward No. 1 of Bharat Chandra Nagar under Belonia Gram Panchayat. Her father, Rajmohan Tripura, works as a daily wage laborer, while her mother, Swapna Rani Tripura, manages the household. With the family struggling to meet even basic expenses, the cost of advanced medical care is far beyond their reach.
Doctors have warned that without urgent and specialized treatment, Cameli’s condition could deteriorate further. However, the family has been unable to begin the necessary procedures due to lack of funds.
In a heartfelt appeal, Swapna Rani Tripura said, “We do not have the means to save our daughter. If kind hearted people extend their support, she may get a chance to live again.”
Local residents have also urged the administration, voluntary organizations, and well off individuals to step forward. Those willing to help can contact the family at 8798225406.
Community members believe that timely humanitarian support could give young Cameli a renewed chance at life.
