Agartala, 25th June 2026: The residents of Machli have finally secured a long-awaited victory as the Machli Primary Health Centre commenced round-the-clock medical services today.
For nearly ten years, the centre operated only between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM, leaving the community vulnerable during medical emergencies at night. This limited schedule caused immense hardship, prompting citizens to unite in protest and demand continuous healthcare access.
Persistent public agitation, coupled with sustained media coverage, compelled the administration to act. Responding to the movement, authorities have now introduced 24-hour services at the facility.
The development has sparked widespread joy across Machli, with activists and residents celebrating the achievement as a triumph of collective effort. Community leaders hailed the decision as a landmark success for ordinary people, underscoring the power of public voice in shaping essential services.
