Mahila Morcha observes seva pakhwada, felicitates sanitation workers

Agartala, 18th September 2025:  To mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, BJP Mahila Morcha State President Mimi Majumder announced the continuation of Seva Pakhwada from September 17 to October 2. As part of the initiative, cleaning drives and social welfare activities have been organized across the state.

Speaking at the Noagaon Kali and Shiv Temple in Krishna Nagar, Majumder said, “We have conducted Swachh Bharat campaigns in every Mandal. Today, as part of BJP Mahila Morcha’s efforts, we are cleaning the temple premises. Prime Minister Modi gives due respect to sanitation workers, and on this occasion, we have felicitated them for their dedicated service.”

She added that PM Modi has been tirelessly working for the nation’s progress and self-reliance. “During this Seva Pakhwada, various initiatives focusing on women empowerment, such as Swachh Nari and Sashakt Parivar, are being implemented. Health camps for women have also been launched across PHCs and CHCs in the state, with over one lakh camps planned nationwide,” Majumder said.

The campaign emphasizes cleanliness, women empowerment, and community welfare, reflecting the PM’s vision for a self-reliant and progressive India.
