Agartala, 3rd August 2026: A significant organizational overhaul of Tipra Motha and its affiliated bodies will take place after the upcoming Village Committee (VC) elections. Former party supremo and MDC, Pradyot Kishore Debbarma, made the announcement today through a social media message, emphasizing that opportunists and self-serving politicians will have no place in the new framework.
Debbarma stated that the restructuring will cover the Youth Tipra Federation (YTF), Tipra Women’s Federation (TWF), Tipra Indigenous Students’ Federation (TISF), Tipra Cultural Forum (TCF), along with the central party structure of Tipra Motha itself.
He underscored that only those who are honest, dedicated, and committed to the party’s ideology and vision—with the goal of ensuring a better future for the state and the nation—will be entrusted with responsibilities in the reorganized structure.
At the same time, Debbarma reiterated that there will be no room for opportunists or individuals pursuing politics for personal gain, sending a strong message ahead of the VC elections.
