The invitation, issued through Letter No. 98/2025, dated 15th April 2025, and signed by Mr. Santosh Shukla, President of the World Book of Records, acknowledges Pit’s outstanding contributions to the field of medical education, institution building and public welfare.

As we all know that Tripura Santiniketan Medical College, located at Ranir Khamar near Agartala, has made a historic mark within months of its inception in 2024. Founded by SWADHIN Trust and approved by the National Medical Commission, the college began its MBBS program with 150 students. It earned national and international recognition by entering both the India Book of Records and Asia Book of Records for enrolling students from 21 Indian states in its first year, which is a rare feat among new medical colleges across Asia. The college has already launched its outpatient department (OPD) services, offering consultations with experienced doctors for just ₹10, along with significant discounts on medicines and diagnostic tests.
