Mamata to visit Tripura in Jan, Tripura TMC stresses on organizational works

Agartala Dec 27: West Bengal chief minister and Trinamool Congress Supremo Mamata Banerjee will visit Tripura in the month of January next. She will also be accompanied by All India TMC National General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee.

The announcement was made on Tuesday by TMC State president Pijush Kanti Biswas amid a Press Conference in party headquarters in the capital city.

Addressing the media, Pijush Biswas said, “Mamata Banerjee and Abhishek Banerjee are slated to visit Tripura in the coming month of January. She will offer prayers at the Tripureshwari temple in Udaipur and also take part in various organizational meetings of the party”.

Apart from this, Biswas announced a slew of programs to be held across the state on behalf of Tripura Trinamool Congress in view of the Foundation Day of the party as well as ensuing assembly polls.

“Tomorrow a rally will be held at the Banamalipur assembly constituency and on December 30 another rally will be held at Orient Chowmani area where all leaders of the state will be present. Apart from that, statewide celebrations of TMC Foundation Day will be held on January 1 and a mass joining program will be held in Sonamura on January 2”, said Pijush Kanti Biswas.

Tuesday, 81 voters from 15 families joined Trinamool Congress in presence of TMC State president Pijush Kanti Biswas.Apart from Biswas, TMC Boxanagar Block president Jaidul Hossain and other leaders also remained present in the press conference.
