Agartala, 5th November 2024: A shocking incident took place at Indranagar area on Tuesday where a 47-year old man named Sebabrata Roy sustained grievous injuries after being hit by a school bus.
Roy is a tomtom driver by profession was severely injured and his condition remains critical as he fights for his life at GB Hospital here.
Witnesses reported that they rushed to Roy’s aid immediately following the incident, transporting him to GB Hospital for emergency treatment. “We saw him lying on the ground and didn’t hesitate to get him help,” said one of the rescuers.
Meanwhile, the school bus driver responsible for the accident managed to escape from the scene before authorities could arrive. Police are investigating the incident and actively seeking to apprehend the driver.
