Man held with cannabis at Udaipur:

Agartala, 12th January 2025:  A young man carrying a suspicious bag was seen running at Udaipur Railway Station, raising suspicion among police personnel from the Udaipur Police Station’s mobile team. Upon intercepting the individual and searching his bag, the police discovered four packets of cannabis.

 Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) of Udaipur, Nirman Das, informed reporters that the individual, identified as Rajib Kumar Dey, is a resident of Chandrapur area in Udaipur Subdivision. He was immediately taken to the police station for further interrogation. Police are currently questioning the suspect to ascertain the source of the cannabis, its intended destination, and whether others are involved in the illegal activity. According to SDPO Nirman Das, efforts are ongoing to uncover the entire network linked to this incident.
