Man  Injured in Bear Attack While Cutting Bamboo in Forest

Agartala, 21st October 2025:  A man was seriously injured after being attacked by a wild bear while cutting bamboo in the forest in Madhimni Para of Ratannagar ADC village.

According to reports, local resident Mohan Tripura (45) went to the forest for his routine bamboo cutting when a wild bear suddenly lunged at him. The unexpected attack left Mohan severely injured.Hearing his cries for help, local residents rushed to the scene and rescued him, immediately taking him to a nearby hospital for treatment.Mohan Tripura is currently undergoing treatment in critical condition.
