Agartala, January 22, 2023: Ahead of assembly election in Tripura, CPIM organized a central public meeting at Madhupur area of Kamalasagar assembly constituency on Sunday where former Chief Minister and leader of opposition Manik Sarkar was the keynote speaker.
Addressing the gathering, Sarkar gave the slogan of “Ousting BJP in order to save Tripura” and said “Organize your vote to form Left Front government in Tripura. Get rid of BJP and all over India, BJP has to be wiped away through expansion and development of solidarity in the movement of people of all sections to bring about economic, political and social change in the entire country to defeat the divisive and political ideological struggle.”
The leader of opposition also said that the entire country is watching the Tripura state assembly elections. Although, the state is small in size with only 60 assembly constituencies but the whole country depends on that assembly election.
Sarkar was accompanied by the former minister and incumbent MLA Bhanu Lal Saha, central committee member Rama Das, Kamalasagar MLA Narayan Chowdhury, state committee member Siddiqur Rahman and others.
