Agartala, December 31: Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha on Sunday emphasized the importance of collective efforts for the overall development and welfare of the people.

He highlighted the positive impact of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat, stating that the audience for the program is increasing day by day.

Dr. Saha said this after listening to the 108th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat program at Booth No. 19 under Ward No. 20 of the Bardowali Assembly constituency on Monday.

“Prime Minister Narendra Modi continues to prioritize patriotic thoughts, working for the overall welfare of the country. He inspires everyone through various patriotic programs. Our priority should be the country first, and then everything else – we have to move forward with this idea. Democratic management will be evident during elections, and maintaining good relationships is crucial,” said Dr. Saha.

He acknowledged the transformative changes brought about by the BJP since coming to power, emphasizing that societal change requires collective efforts.

Dr. Saha also praised Prime Minister Modi’s Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, aimed at ensuring the benefits of flagship projects reach every individual in society.

“Many are unaware of the various important government schemes, but the Prime Minister has given special priority to the development and empowerment of women. In today’s Mann Ki Baat, the PM highlighted the crucial role of women in society’s development,” Dr. Saha added.

He underscored the Prime Minister’s special emphasis on supporting startups for the youth generation.

“The Prime Minister is committed to advancing the country. ‘Modi’ means guarantee. Mann Ki Baat has become immensely popular, with people eagerly awaiting the program. It is essential to work for the people and prioritize their well-being. Unity is crucial, and everyone should collectively work towards the goal of making Ek Agartala Srestha Agartala and Ek Tripura Srestha Tripura,” said Dr. Saha.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister distributed gas connections and Ayushman cards under the Ujjwala Yojana to beneficiaries. Additionally, blankets were distributed among those in need.
