Mason’s deadbody recovered from Teliamura-Khowai road

Agartala, September 18, 2022: A blood-soaked deadbody was recovered last night at around 12.40 AM at Teliamura-Khowai road adjacent to Pallimangal Club in Lal Tilla area of Moharcherra under Teliamura police station. The deadbody is identified as Swapan Kumar Roy (38), resident of Moharcherra area under Teliamura police station and he is a mason by profession.

Reportedly, at around 12:40 pm on Saturday late night, the local residents suddenly found a bloody corpse of a person lying on the side of the road in the area adjacent to Pallimangal Club in Laltila, Moharcherra. After receiving the news of the incident, the policemen on-duty of Teliamura police station immediately rushed to the spot. Later, Swapan Roy’s blood-soaked dead body found on the road late at night was retrieved and brought to Teliamura sub-divisional hospital’s morgue. However, the family members of the deceased alleged that Swapan was killed as he sustained injury marks on his head and due to which a complaint will be lodged at Teliamura police station on behalf of the deceased person’s family.

In this direction, the dead body was handed over to the family members by Teliamura sub-divisional hospital after the post-mortem on Sunday afternoon. However, the mysterious death created fog among the people of Moharcherra area and there is no doubt that it is an unnatural death. Swapan left behind his son and daughter along with his wife at home.

Later, Teliamura police station staff brought 5 youths from the local area to the station for questioning. Now the real mystery of the recovery of this bloody corpse on the road will be revealed through proper investigation by the police. On the other hand, a sensational situation and a shadow of mourning has descended on the entire area after the deadbody of Swapan was recovered from the roadside.
