Agartala, 23rd February 2026: After a long wait of nearly a year, devotees’ generous offerings at the Mata Tripura Sundari Temple have been officially measured and recorded. Over the past 11 months, the temple has received a substantial amount of donations, totaling 1 kilogram 649 grams of gold and 820 grams of silver.
today, in the presence of various administrative officials, members of the temple advisory committee, and priests, the gold and silver were formally weighed and documented within the temple premises. Authorities stated that the entire process was conducted transparently.
A member of the temple management committee explained that, every year, devotees contribute not only cash but also gold and silver ornaments, coins, and other items. These offerings are periodically accounted for and recorded according to government regulations. The collected gold and silver are later either deposited in the government treasury or preserved as per prescribed guidelines.
