Agartala, January 22: The long-standing aspiration of Rajnagar’s devoted community to establish a Ram Thakur temple is on the brink of realization, as the foundation stone for the sacred structure was ceremoniously laid on Monday.
The Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation, Dipak Majumder unveiled the foundation stone, a momentous occasion witnessed by local corporators and other community members.
Mayor Majumder conveyed the significance of the day, emphasizing that the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya was slated for inauguration on the same Monday, coinciding with the establishment of Ram Lala’s divine presence. In tandem with these events, the foundation stone for the construction of the Ram Thakur temple in the Rajnagar area was formally initiated.
Mayor Majumder expressed optimism regarding the swift progression of the temple’s construction, conveying the hopes of the community that the sacred edifice would be completed in a remarkably short span.
