Agartala, January 22: Monday marked the end of a nearly five-century-long wait as the highly anticipated Ram Temple Prana was consecrated in Ayodhya. Prime Minister Narendra Modi officiated the establishment of Ramlala in the Ram Mandir, eliciting widespread excitement and jubilation across the nation, including the state of Tripura.
The people of Tripura joined the nationwide celebration with immense joy and happiness, setting aside differences of caste and creed to come together in devotion to Lord Rama. Ram Puja ceremonies resonated throughout the state, filling every lane and market, drawing devotees to temples.
Witnessing this historic moment, Governor Indra Sena Reddy Nallu visited various temples in the region, attending the Lord’s court and extending greetings to the people of the state. The atmosphere was vibrant as the Yajna program unfolded from neighborhood to neighborhood, and live broadcasts of the Ram temple ceremony in Ayodhya were displayed on LED screens, ensuring everyone could witness the auspicious occasion.
Governor Nallu actively participated in the Ram Mandir event, offering prayers at the Jagannath temple in Agartala. Reflecting on the significance of the day, he expressed that the establishment of the Ram temple fulfills the expectations of everyone after a 500-year wait, declaring it a glorious day for all. The Governor extended his heartfelt wishes to everyone, expressing hope that the blessings of Lord Ram would be bestowed upon all on this auspicious day.
