Agartala, September 16, 2023. Agartala Municipal Corporation’s Mayor Dipak Majumder on Saturday inaugurated a blood donation camp at North Badharghat, organized by the Unnayan Sangha on its 71st foundation day.
He praised the blood donors for fulfilling their human duty and saving lives. He also urged the people of the state to respond to the Chief Minister’s appeal to donate blood and prevent any shortage in the blood banks.
The Mayor said that various social organizations and clubs were participating in the blood donation camp with enthusiasm.
He was accompanied by corporator Sampa Sen Chowdhury, club president Pranab Saha, secretary Partha Sarkar and other dignitaries. They visited the blood donation camp and motivated the donors.
The Mayor also appealed to the government to support the clubs in their social work and development activities.
