Agartala Nov 15: Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor Dipak Majumder visited his own Ward area in Ramnagar to take a note of the ongoing works in the area.The Mayor inspected the ongoing works including road reform, culvert construction and others.
He also held talks with the locals of the area and tried to know their problems.The Mayor asked the locals to use AMC dustbins or discard household waste and garbage to the AMC workers who reaches out every household in the area in the morning on a daily basis.He said, “Disposal of all sort of waste into the drains turns dangerous in the rainy season because of clogging of the waste including plastic wastes”.
Talking to the reporters, the Mayor Dipak Majumder said, “All sort of developmental works are under process and will be completed at the earliest”.“Promises made to the [people prior elections will be met definitely”, said the Mayor.
