Agartala: August 16. Mayor Dipak Majumder, accompanied by MLA Ratan Chakraborty and Corporator Uttam Ghosh, conducted a comprehensive visit to Ward No. 9 of Agartala Municipal Corporation today, responding to the persistent complaints of local residents.
Acknowledging the range of challenges faced by the community, Mayor Majumder assured proactive measures to address these issues promptly.During the inspection, the Mayor affirmed the commitment of both the state government and AMC to spearhead holistic development initiatives. Mayor emphasized the transparency in the allocation of funds, facilitated by the joint efforts of the government and AMC, as a driving force behind the expedited development projects.
Majumder has underscored that urgent steps will be taken to rectify the road and drainage issues plaguing the Jatrabari Mariam Nagar area within Ward No. 9.
He said that previous administrative efforts, under the stewardship of the Left-run AMC, had suffered from a lack of foresight and planning. As a result, the area faced persistent waterlogging problems during rainy seasons.
In stark contrast, Mayor expressed his administration’s unwavering commitment to proactively address the concerns of the community and deliver effective solutions.
