Agartala, November 01, 2022: The seventh foundation anniversary of Maharaja Bir Bikram University was celebrated on Tuesday. Jyoti Prasad Debbarma, Controller of Examinations of the University delivered the welcome address on the occasion.
The cover of the book “Buddhism and Sanatana Dharma: In Search of Sustainable Peace, Harmony and Development” was unveiled on this auspicious occasion.
The Chairman of Tripura State Higher Education Council and eminent educationist Professor Arunoday Saha was present as the chief guest on the occasion. Registrar of the University Dr Sumanta Chakraborty highlighted the role of students. On this foundation day today, the current and former students of the university organized a wonderful cultural program. The event was enriched by dance, song and recitation.
President of this auspicious event and Vice-Chancellor of MBB University Professor Satyadeo Poddar congratulated the guests, university professors, officers and all other levels of employees and students on the occasion of the seventh anniversary of the university and appreciated everyone’s role in the development of the university. Dr Devdatta Adak, Convener of the Cultural Committee delivered the vote of thanks on the occasion.
