Agartala: April 09. A mentally unstable mother has allegedly attacked her son with a sharp weapon. The incident took place on Saturday night in Kailashahar.
It is known that Rupsa Begum, a resident of Yazekhaora area of Kailashahar, suffering from mental illness. Even after many treatments by the family, nothing worked. On Saturday late night Rupsa Begum has all of a sudden attacked her 13-year-old son with a sharp weapon. Neighbors rushed to the spot after hearing the screams of the injured minor boy.
The injured Saidul Hossain was rescued and taken to Unakoti District Hospital. The doctor on duty at the hospital referred him to GB Hospital for advanced treatment after first treatment there. Sensation spread in the area around the incident.
