Minister Ratan Lal Nath inaugurates blood donation camp at Agartala Press Club

Agartala, Feb 10: A Voluntary Blood Donation Camp was held at Agartala Press Club on Saturday, organized by TSECL Finance and other Employees Association. The camp was inaugurated by Minister of Power Department Ratanlal Nath, who praised the initiative and the spirit of blood donors.

The camp was also attended by MD Debashish Sarkar of Tripura State Electricity Corporation Limited and other officials from the power department. They appreciated the efforts of the association and the press club for arranging the camp.

In his inaugural speech, Minister Ratan Lal Nath said that Tripura state is leading the country in blood donation. He said that this is a good sign of social awareness and responsibility among the people of the state. He also said that government employees are doing social service work as well as government work, and sought everyone’s cooperation to move the country and the state forward.

Minister Ratan Lal Nath congratulated and thanked all those who came forward to donate blood in the camp. He said that donating blood is a great gift, as there is no substitute for blood. He said that a life is saved through this noble act. He also encouraged more people to come forward and donate blood.

After the inauguration ceremony, Minister Ratan Lal Nath and other guests visited the blood donation camp and interacted with the donors. They also distributed certificates and refreshments to the donors. The camp was a success, as many people participated and donated blood. The association and the press club expressed their gratitude to the minister, the officials, and the donors for their support and cooperation.
