Minister Tinku Roy helps Divyangan boy with social allowances

Agartala: May 11. Social Welfare and Social Education Minister Tinku Roy today visited Bashi Kobra Para under the Jirania sub-division in the West district for helping a 12-year divyang boy who was not getting a social allowance. Speaking with reporters, Minister Roy said that a few days back he got to know about a 12-year-old boy who is 100 percent divyangan.

“When I heard that he was not receiving any social allowances I immediately directed the officials to look after the matter. Our officials have carried out survey work and after that, we have given the sanction for the allowance. From today he will receive the allowance”, said the minister. He said that the boy has another twin brother and the department will try to take his brother to boarding school for studies.
