Agartala, 4th July 2024: Ahead of the upcoming Panchayat election slated to be held on August first week, a minor reshuffle had taken place in Tripura’s civil and Police administration.
As per the order undersigned by Deputy Secretary, SK Debbarma, the government has transferred Director of Smitha Mol from Social Welfare and Social Education as District Magistrate of South District replacing Siddharth Shiv Jaiswal who will take change as District Magistrate of Sepahijala District.
Animesh Debbarma who was Additional Director of Food and Civil Services will transferred and posted as Director of Higher Education.N C Sharma who was Director of Higher and Secondary Education will take charge as Director of Elementary Education and relieved from Director of Higher Education.Prasant Badal Negi who was West District Additional District Magistrate and Collector, transferred and posted as Director of Tripura Tourism replacing Tapan Kumar Das who will take charge as Director of Social Welfare and Social Education.
L Darlong who was Director of OBC welfare transferred and posted as Director of SCERT while Muhammad Sajad P who is Additional Commissioner of AMC will also hold the charge of Director of OBC welfare.Meanwhile, in Tripura Police, L Darlong, IPS, transferred from Commandant 13th Battalion to AIGP (Training) replacing H Sunga Darlong.Dulal Chandra Das who was Sub-divisional Police Officer (SDPO) of Sadar transferred and posted to SDPO Bishalgarh while Panna Lal Sen who was SDPO Bishalgarh transferred and posted as Dy.SP Special Branch while Deba Prasad Roy who was DySP Special Branch will be transferred and posted as SDPO Sadar.
