Agartala, July 05, 2023: The miscreants destroyed more than 500 rubber trees of a farmer at East Jalefa area of Sabroom sub-division.
Reportedly, miscreants cut and destroyed around 500 rubber trees belonging to a rubber farmer named Shankar Dey, a resident of Ward no. 2 area under Sabroom police station in Satchand block on Tuesday night.
On Wednesday morning, rubber farmer Shankar Dey went to the rubber plantation and witnessed the incident. The affected rubber chasi Shankar Dey said that miscreants destroyed about 500 rubber trees of his on Tuesday night.
He also said that he will approach to the Sabroom police station.
