Miscreants set fire on booth offices of CPIM & Congress at Bishalgarh

Agartala, February 02, 2023: Miscreants set fire to CPIM and Congress election booth offices at Nabinnagar, Chowk Bazaar in Bishalgarh taking advantage of darkness on the night of Thursday last.

It is reported that the miscreants set fire to CPIM and Congress booth number 23 office at Nabinnagar, Chowk Bazar under Bishalgarh police station last night.

Later, on Thursday morning, officials were informed and the administration officials rushed to the spot. Paramilitary forces have been deployed in Nabinagar, Chowk Bazar area to bring the situation under control.

On the other hand, continuous political violence have been reported in different areas of Bishalgarh. Even after the administration took strict legal action, there are allegations of setting fire to offices of various political parties in different areas of Bishalgarh.

On the other hand, the CPIM workers alleged while speaking to the reporters accused the ruling party hooligans of burning the CPI-M and Congress booth office at Nabinnagar, Chowk Bazar area.

In Nabinnagar Chowk Bazar area, BJP miscreants are accused of forcibly extorting money from people including house-to-house attacks, they alleged.
