Agartala, 30th July 2026: Dinesh Chandra Saha, husband of Tripura Chief Whip and Teliamura MLA Kalyani Roy Saha, passed away on Thursday.
He reportedly died in his sleep, with cardiac arrest suspected to be the cause.
Tripura Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha expressed profound grief over the sudden demise. In an official condolence message, he offered his deepest sympathies to the bereaved family and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul.
“The news of the untimely demise of Shri Dinesh Chandra Saha, husband of Smt. Kalyani Roy Saha, Hon’ble Chief Whip of the Tripura Legislative Assembly and MLA from Teliamura constituency, has left me deeply saddened,” the Chief Minister stated.
He further added, “I pray for the eternal peace of the departed soul and extend my heartfelt condolences to the grieving family members. May God grant them the strength and courage to bear this immense loss during this trying hour. Om Shanti.” Further details regarding the cremation and last rites were not immediately available
