Agartala, 15th June 2026: A crucial administrative meeting aimed at reviewing developmental progress was held on Monday in Tripura’s Dhalai district. The session of the District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (DISHA) took place at the conference hall of the District Magistrate’s office in Ambassa.
The meeting was chaired by Lok Sabha Member of Parliament Kriti Devi Debbarma, representing the 2-East Tripura (ST) constituency. The session brought together key administrative officials and public representatives to assess the implementation status of various central and state government schemes across the district.
Detailed discussions were held on sectors including rural and urban development, healthcare, education, drinking water supply, and infrastructure. Emphasizing accountability and efficiency, the MP reviewed departmental performances and stressed the importance of adhering to timelines in executing ongoing projects.
Dhalai District Magistrate Vivek H.B., along with Sub-Divisional Magistrates, senior officials from multiple departments, and elected representatives, participated in the meeting.
Addressing the officials, MP Kriti Devi Debbarma highlighted that the primary objective of such reviews is to ensure that government schemes effectively reach beneficiaries without delay. She issued strict directives to accelerate the pace of implementation and improve coordination among departments.
The DISHA meeting is expected to enhance administrative transparency and efficiency while contributing significantly to improving the quality of life for residents of the district.
