Agartala, 25th September 2024: In a commendable initiative, MP Rajib Bhattacharjee, along with MLA Tafajjal Hossain and Subhash Chandra Saha, Chairperson of Boxanagar Block, participated in a blood donation camp organized by the NSS of Rahimpur Class XII School under the Boxanagar assembly constituency on Wednesday. The event saw enthusiastic participation from the community, with many stepping forward to donate blood.
Bhattacharjee , in his address, emphasized the importance of blood donation, stating, “Blood donation is a great act of humanity. Many people’s lives are endangered due to lack of blood in our society. So, everyone should donate blood at least once, so that we can stand by everyone. Thank you to all the blood donors for participating in this camp today. Let’s take this initiative of compassion and humanity forward together.”
He further highlighted the need to raise awareness among the younger generation, encouraging them to view blood donation as a social responsibility.
